We had a fun and relaxing weekend at the coast for Shrimpfest! The little town we have a house in has an annual event and this is the first time we attended. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed time with friends and their kiddos, live music and of course the time away from the city! They also had miniature ponies and their babies there for the kids to ride. They were so cute and I thought with the ocean as the background it was such a pretty picture!

I also bought two new cookbooks and am excited to see what new recipes I can fix! I made the Au Gratin Potatoes from the Pioneer Woman cookbook and am posting that recipe tomorrow.
When I ran into Target for a few things I browsed through the clothing and found a super cute high/low dress! Excited that it was only $19.99 and bright & colorful for the summer! Sorry I didn't take a picture in it as I am lounging while writing this and not looking real blog photo worthy :)
Sunday night I was so excited when Brad offered to make banana bread with our leftover bananas. It was so good!! He always makes the best banana bread :)
I'm very excited to link up with LeeAnn at Join the Gossip, Sami at Sami's Shenanigans & Dana at five30three for the first Weekend Update linkup. Head over to check out her blog & the others and maybe find a few new blog friends as well!
I am also linking up with Hayley at Weekend File and Alli at Life on LeRoy! Check out their blogs and those linking up as well!
