I have a very simple recipe for you today but a very tasty one! We love jerked chicken but don't find it often. So, when I was grocery shopping recently I came across this packet by Weber that you add OJ and your meat you and marinate then grill!
Let me tell you, it is excellent!! We have enjoyed it two different nights already and have been very happy! The first time I marinated chicken tenders and then baked them and the second time we marinated chicken thighs and then grilled them. I definitely prefer the grilling!
Here is all you need.
You pour the packet and OJ in a zip lock and mix together, then add your chicken and marinade for at least 2 hours (we did it for 8 hours). Then, remove chicken and cook either on grill, bake or even in the pan on the stove top!
When we grilled the jerked chicken, we paired it with risotto and a greek salad.
and with the baked jerked chicken we enjoyed edemame and smashed potatoes.
