Random Wednesday

Happy Thanksgiving Eve friends!!

I am so excited for the holiday this week and can't wait to get myself to Dallas to see my family.
All 3 of my living Grandparents will be at my parents house as well as my sister & her husband with Brad & I. This is the first time this has ever happened!!

I can't wait to hug them all!!

I hope you & your family have a great Thanksgiving as well!!

Now, onto my random Wednesday...get ready because there has been all kinds of randomness floating around in my head lately! There is never enough time in the day to even attempt to get it all done!

  1. I MUST start running again! I enjoyed it so much and feel so much better. As you all know I also had started Insanity a while back and got through a few weeks of it but really hit a wall with other things going on in our life but also due to always being inside. You see, I love running outside, the fresh air, the change of scenery...I could go on and on! My goal over the next month is to work out 4 days a week, 2 days of running and 2 days of Insanity. I cannot wait until New Year's to get started....I think I need to write up a contract for myself to sign :)
  2. I also really want to start eating clean. I bought the book, cookbook and have loved Tosca & the Oxygen magazine for so long. I know this will also help me to feel better. I just have to commit to making my meals the night before which for some reason is SO hard for me!! Discipline, Andrea, Discipline!! Again, I think a contract is needed. :)
  3. No more clothes shopping for a while!!! I really must wear what is in my closet and stop buying just to get something new...my fellow bloggers are not helping because when I see what they are wearing I am instantly wanting to run to the store and get one for myself...another contract is needed...I think I am seeing a pattern here :)
So....here are my randoms summarized: work out, eat clean, don't shop! There, that sounds much better!!

Here are some pins that I am loving too!

Egg muffins

Monogram Burlap wall hanging
(I really think I could DIY this...already have all the supplies at home)

I am loving your random Wednesday friend! I am with you on clothes shopping, I am vowing to wear what is in my closet and stop running out to buy what everyone has!!! You know I share the love for running, sounds like you have a great plan:) Clean eating, a definite goal, I feel so much better when I do. And I'm going to do that burlap DIY, I LOVE it!!

It is almost like I wrote this post...seriously...

I have been dying to get back into working out. Playing sports in college, combined with a life full of coaches telling me what to do has made me totally rebel and not workout at all. Boo!

Eating clean. I have been doing surprisingly well, but the cookies and ice cream get me every. single. time! I need to stay strong.

And the clothes thing...let me just give you a hint about my New Year's resolution...me - shopping = a whole year of nothing new...shhh! Don't tell anyone ;)

I will be blogging about my plan to not shop for a year in a post closer to January 1!!

Have a great Thanksgiving!

PS: I hope you are not driving up I-35 to Dallas! We will be making our treck down that way early tomorrow morning in order to avoid the horrific traffic!

I have the same clothing problem and all the emails with Black Friday sales are not helping. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

I've been shopping my closet a lot more but I agree it's hard when you're constantly seeing cute things on other bloggers. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Love your list. We have been doing p90x2 so I have not been running hardly at all but I need to get back to it! We have been trying to eat a little cleaner but we could definitely bump it up a notch.

Have a great Thanksgiving!!

New follower here! That four week plan looks great. I have been in a running funk, and I think that I am going to give that a try.

I went out yesterday for my first run in three weeks and it was so nice! I was in such a good phase of going every day, but it is hard when you fall out of your routine. You can do it! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I am the same way - if I have my meals planned I eat SO much better. I need to get back into working out and eating much healthier too. After Thanksgiving of course ;)

Solid contract plan!

I'm trying not to think of mine as resolutions, because then I'm sure to throw them out the window after a week.

My baby is due mid December, so I already bought myself a bunch of new healthy cook books and have a walking-to-jogging-to-running plan ready to go.

Here's to new contracts!

Running outside is the best. I need to buy some more cold weather gear so I can keep up my training because running indoors does not cut it for this girl. Good luck sticking with your plan!

Girl, do you know how long it's been since I started working out?? It's embarrassing. I don't think I could ever eat clean...I love all the bad stuff to much!! And I am trying to not shop for myself too....it's so HARD!!!! Have a wonderful time with you family. Thanks for linking up and I love ya!!

Great post! I'm with ya on eating clean and working out...and the shopping. I gotta write some contracts myself. I love that DIY. You should totally do it! Hope you and your family enjoy your time together. Can't wait for the recap!
Cheers,
Sara

I know what you mean about always wanting to buy something new. It's a disease. That's why I've been trying my very hardest to buy more classic pieces so that I wont get sick of my clothes so fast.
