A little about me & a blog hop

Today I thought I would do a little post about me! I try to share personal things on my blog but thought it might be fun to share with those that are new to my blog!

1. I am a Physician Assistant. For those that don't know what that is, I am a mid-level provider that attended Medical School and had classes with the med students. We had a different path to get to our end point though. I love my job! I know it sounds so silly but the relationships I form with my patients truly does make what I do amazing!

2. I would love to be a professional photographer! I am in love with taking pictures and wish that I could figure out how to do it more often! For my birthday last year I got the Nikon D3100 DSLR and love it! I am definitely a Nikon girl. :)

3. I have more necklaces then I know what do with! I haven't worn many of them and I need that to change!

{some of my baubles}

4. I am a shopaholic!! I am really working on this one for 2013. Like my friend Sarah, I have way to many clothes and need to put a halt on the shopping craze for a bit! I'm not swearing off shopping but am trying to create new outfits out of what is already in my closet!

5. I enjoy sewing, painting and cooking! Here are a few things that I have created.

6. I seem to finish 99% of all sentences in my blog posts, emails and texts with a !, not sure why but I guess it shows my happiness !!!

7. I love being at the coast or near water!! We enjoy spending our free time there and I'm looking forward to fishing more this year. My hubby loves fishing so I am going to try and be a good wife and go out with him more!

8. I love running! I have recently started back into my routine and am committing to running more races this year and the 1/2 Marathon again in November.

9. I am an older sister and love my little sis more than anything!! Growing up people always thought we were twins.

10. My husband is my best friend. We met in high school and have been married almost 9 years!! He is a Marine and my hero :)

{This is my all-time favorite picture! This was the first time I saw & hugged Brad after he returned from Iraq. It was in 2005 and still feels like just yesterday!}

I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little more!

Now, onto the blog hop! I am participating with Melissa and others! We would love to have you link up with us!

It's Tuesday again which means it's time for the GFC Blog Hop!
When I want to follow a blog the first thing I look for is GFC (Google Friend Connect), it's so easy and  nice to be able to go and see all of the blogs you follow in one spot. It's really a great tool to have.
One side note- Did you know you can follow through GFC using your Twitter Account? TRUE, it's definitely an option!
Ok, so let's get to the party, shall we?
RULES are simple:
1. Follow your host via GFC
The First link below
2. Follow your co-hosts via GFC
The Next 8 links below
3. Link up below using your main blog url not a specific post.
4. Make sure to visit some of the blogs in the link up and follow them via GFC
and if you want to leave them a comment, I'm sure they'd appreciate that as well.
5. Tweet about this blog hop
6. Share about this blog hop by grabbing a button and putting it on your sidebar!

Thanks for co-hosting the GFC Hop - I'm so glad to be your newest follower! And let me send you a big "THANK YOU" for the work you do as a PA. My son has complex CHDs, so we got very familiar with the cardiac PAs and saw how hard y'all work. Come on over to my blog sometime - I've got all my ad spaces up for grabs right now. :)

Hey! It looks like we have a LOT in common! Starting with ending sentences with "!" haha

Kathrin@shopschoolsleep said...

I end my sentences with !! too!! haha and that "haha" you're right I think it shows happiness. That is a heck of a lot of necklaces girl!! wow!! No shopping is so hard...target is the devil and what helps is if you go with your husband because then he prevents you from making unnecessary purchases (or at least mine does haha) I love the homecoming pic of you and your husband...those make me tear up and I cannot imagine having been or being a military wife/ girlfriend.
