This picture was taken with my 18-55mm lens, ISO 800, 35mm, f/5, S 1/30
So, what do you think? Which lens is your favorite? I really love the 55-300. I can be far away, zoom in and really blur the background. But, I also love my 35mm lens because it gets down to a f-stop of 1.8 and gives a great blurred background as well.
I am wanting to buy a flash as well this week just to help add indirect light to certain areas. I also am wanting to get a card for my camera that is bluetooth enabled and automatically downloads pictures to my laptop. Love it!!
So there you have it, a little lens post for you!
What about you, what lens do you have? Which one do you love?
Do you have a flash that you recommend?

Great post! I love my 50 1.4 and my 50 - 200mm for the kids' sports activities. I am hit or miss with my 18-55mm, sometimes I get great shots and sometimes I don't! I love the middle picture, I mean, that face!Have you seen LightScoop? It's an inexpensive bounce flash that gets great reviews!
They all look great! I love the 35 mm lens photo the best! My favorite lens is my 50 mm 1.4!!!
I think I like the second one best. I mean, they all look great but that's my favorite. Keep us posted on what you get next! I have so much to learn! Have a great Tuesday, friend.
Cheers,
Sara
I'm with Sara... ;) You've inspired me to tinker with my lenses (I have MUCH to learn). I'd love to know what you choose (and I *loved* the comparison pics). :)
Thanks for a fun blog!
Warmly,
Sara

The second and third are definitely my favorites but the lighting is just SO fantastic on those. I only have one lens at the moment but you definitely inspire me to work at experimenting more - thank you!
Amazing blog <3
Would you like to follow each other? I've already followed you via GFC dear!

I like the second one best! I need a nice camera, it really does make such a difference.
And I'm jealous your dogs pose. Mine always looks away haha :)
I know NOTHING about what lens to use, heck I still have a point and shoot. How sad is that? I REALLY need to upgrade! I like the last picture the best! But, like I said, what do I know! LOL!
Yay for the new camera - I love these gorgeous photos {and the cute pup!}
Happy Valentines Day!
xx,
maya
They all look great! My favorite might be the middle or last one. Hope you enjoyed your Valentines Day :)
xoxo Jamie
Cute pics. Love the second one. - Brandy
You have that many awesome cameras?! Ohmygoodness I am so jealous! I love them all for diff reasons, depending on the shot you are after! And it helps to have such a beautiful model - nothing can look bad with that face! :)
This is such a great post - I bought a good camera recently and am still figuring out all the settings and lens options! It's so great seeing the same photo compared side by side... Think I'm going to give a different lens a try, I've been sticking to the same one because I didn't know what the others would be like. Thank you for encouraging me to explore!!! :)
