Weekend wrap-up

I drove up to Dallas to see my family and a good friend for the weekend and had a GREAT time! The drive is always a little to long but it is worth it! My Mom, sister and I shopped a little and I found some great white pots at Ikea and a journal at HomeGoods (so I can start writing as I noted in my Summer to-do list.)

white pots from Ikea - I'm thinking about planting succulents maybe??

my new journal - I thought the phrases on the front were PERFECT!!

We also made some great pizzas on the grill Saturday night and had a wonderful champagne drink! Come back tomorrow to see the recipes and pictures!

It is always fun to get away but coming home to my sweet husband and puppies is always so nice!

On my drive I came up with a great playlist. What do you think? What songs would you pick for a roadtrip?

Call Me Maybe
Carly Rae Jepson

Payphone
Maroon 5 featuring Wiz Khalifa

Somebody That I Used To Know
Gotye featuring Kimbra

We Are Young
Fun featuring Janelle Monae

Feel So Close
Calvin Harris

Back In Time
Pitbull

Sweeter
Gavin DeGraw

Little Talk
Of Monsters and Men

Wild Ones
Flo Rida featuring Sia

Drive By
Train

The Fighter
Gym Class Heroes featuring Ryan Tedder

Sounds like a fun weekend. Cute journal. I've never made pizza on the grill! but it's a neat idea.
