I wore my Gap t-shirt dress and loved it!
{Dress: Gap, Necklace: Francesca's, Watch: Fossil, Shoes: Tory Burch Miller sandals}

We spent some time outside despite the hot weather, so of course I had to take pictures of my doggy "daughters". We also tried a new wine...the hubby picked this up at the store because he liked the label. It was decent but had a little bite. If you like a little stronger red wine then I suggest trying it. I picked up a new plant for the house called a Peperomia - I really liked the leaves. The beach chair art was from a Giveaway from Laura Trevey at Bright Bold and Beautiful. She has amazing watercolors and you have to check out her site! The pink camera art was from a purchase I made on Sneakpeeq from Coco Draws. I love it and have so many ideas of where I want to put it!
The hubby & I also went to have Vietnamese food. This was my first time and I was so impressed! We had the shrimp & pork spring rolls and Pho. I had the seafood and it was delicious! Of course we cheered with a little Ichiban, how could we not?!?!
Finally, Sunday evening we had our good friends, The Couch Family, over for dinner. I made a great PW Peach Whiskey Chicken, Fancy Mac & Cheese (sans gorgonzola) and sateed spinach. (come back tomorrow for the recipes). We had a great time as always & Lady (our Sheltie) just loves their son Wade so he got in on a little photo op. Then little sister, Angie, had to join in too! They are so cute! Lady did such a good job with both of the kids and I can't wait to see how she does once we start a family.
Tell me, what did you do to beat the summer heat this past weekend?
I am also committing to the Photo a Day for the month of July. I think it will be fun to challenge myself to take more pictures. July 1st was the first picture of the post.
You should join me!

I love that t-shirt dress. I wish I could pull that off. And what on earth is Sneakpeeq? Sounds like it may be similar to Etsy? I mean, of course I could google it...but that'd be no fun! Thanks for linking up!
