Tasty Tuesday: Pizza Casserole

I have a special treat for you today! This recipe a longtime favorite! It is from one of my best friends mother from high school. She use to make it on our pasta nights before our soccer games. It is very easy & oh so tasty!

Pizza Casserole

Ingredients:
1 lb (16 oz) egg noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 lb italian sausage
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 - 8 oz jars pizza sauce
1 can tomato soup (not diluted)
1 1/2 c grated cheddar cheese
2 c grated mozzarella cheese
16 oz ricotta cheese
1 egg
parmesan cheese

Directions:
1. Brown beef & sausage with salt and pepper, then drain.
2. Add pizza sauce & tomato soup to meats and simmer.
3. Mix all cheeses and egg in large bowl.
4. Cook noodles per package directions.
5. In 13 x 9 greased dish, layer noodles, then meat mixture, then cheese and repeat layers ending with noodles and then top with cheese.
6. Add grated parmesan cheese to top.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes (covered) and then for an additional 10 minutes (uncovered).

Enjoy!!
