Weekend Update

Hello friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! I feel like I need another day off before this busy week gets started again. We had a nice weekend, Brad went to the deer lease and I was able to finish our Christmas shopping and relax some!

Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Brad & I had lunch at Mi Tierra downtown. It was delicious! Queso and enchiladas, yum!

I decorated our tree in flip flops and short-sleeves. It has been in the 70's here, not Christmas weather at all!

Love our tree skirt that my in-laws got us a few years ago.
Perfect for the Hill Country!

All of our Waterford ornaments are up!

While Brad was away the girls & I watched Johnny Manziel win the Heisman Trophy!
So proud of him and my Aggies!
You can't see it but I did buy a #2 Aggie shirt!

Ended Saturday by sipping a little vino and enjoying the tree.

I made it to Sephora and bought new make-up.
I have been wanting to try Bare Minerals and was excited after the rep worked her magic on me!
Do any of you use their products? Any suggestions?

Sunday morning I went to Brunch with my friend Pamela. We had a great time chatting and catching up!

After brunch I headed over to another sweet friends house to snap a few pictures for them.
I love the kiddos expressions in this one. :) It was very difficult to get a 1 year old and 2 1/2 year old to want to take pictures and smile for me.

That wine glass Christmas tree photo is a work of art lady!

And who doesn't love a new makeup haul?

It looks like a great weekend.

I use Bare Minerals too. Every once in awhile Ulta has a 20% coupon that will work on it, so I stock up then too. I swear by their mineral veil and bronzer.

ELF has great mineral eyeshadows (much cheaper) that I use with the bare minerals face makeup, and the eye primer from ELF is good too.

Curious to see how the Bare Minerals make up looks! I usually just use a tinted moisturizer on my face only.

I love bare minerals! They have fantastic kits too and the starter kit is one of my favorites! Tip - press, don't rub the makeup in with the bruch. It will last much longer! If you need any advice, I'm here!

I love your decorations too! The tree and skirt are so pretty and the Waterford ornaments are gorgeous!

3. Love the tree skirt :)
4. Go Johnny Football!!
5. I love Bare Minerals. Once you get used to it, you will soon learn you can make it heavy, or keep it light and fresh!

Honey I am DYING for your tree skirt!!! Dying, yes. Can you believe how WARM this Christmas is? I'm in GA, but I feel like I'm in CA. Merry Christmas!

I love the tree skirt!! The ornaments look fabulous on your mantle!! Your girls pose behind you is awesome!! I can't believe they pose so well...I am used to the 60-75 degree weather being from So Cali but it does make it feel less like Christmas although it gets cold at night and with the lights and decorations out, nighttime feels liek Christmas the most....does that make sens? hahaha

OOh your mantel looks very chic!

Love BareMinerals! I suggest sprinkling the powder on a piece of tissue then swirling the brush around to loosen up the powder. But I love all their products!

Sounds like you had a wonderful, relaxing weekend! It's been warm here too...not very holiday-ish! Thankfully, it's cooler today. Love your tree skirt...so TX! :)
I love Bare Minerals, especially their concealer. Your tree is beautiful as is your friend and her kiddos! Hope you had a great Monday, my friend! :)
Cheers,
Sara

Those photos turned out great! I've got a photoshoot coming up with my little family in 2 weeks and I'm trying to figure out how we're gonna get a 23 month old and 3 month old to look at the camera at the same time. PRobably impossible :)
