Weekend Recap
Well hello there Monday! It is always nice to have a relaxing weekend but it just doesn't seem to make it any easier to get up and going at the beginning of the week. I really think once the weather stays warm, the flowers are blooming and the evenings stay light just a little longer it will be easier...but we will see!
I hope you all had a great weekend as well! We drove down to the coast for a little relaxation time and watched a few movies, had a little seafood and indulged on some delicious dessert! Pretty good past few days if you ask me! I also did not even take my camera out of the bag and only snapped a few pictures this weekend. I did not isolate myself from social media because what can I say, I have a slight obsession with IG! I just love seeing what you all are up to!
It was very windy this weekend and didn't get above the 60's but we took the girls for a little walk and ball game. When you have a thick fur coat the breeze and cooler weather is welcomed!
We also went to one of our (okay, my) favorite restaurants at the coast. I enjoyed some Dungeness crab legs, yum!!! For dessert we brought home key lime pie for the husband and I had turtle cheesecake. It was absolutely delicious! I will be saving my calories for this in the future again!
Finally, here are the movies we watched. I'm sure you can tell the one I chose...here is what I thought of them.
1. Flight: do I recommend this movie? Not sure...it was good, depressing and not at all what I had hoped for. An alcoholic that runs a reckless life, is in a plane crash and finally takes responsibility for his actions. A feel good movie? Nope, but still it was written well and the acting was pretty good.
2. Ted: This was a funny movie, however quite corny. The acting was okay and the talking bear...kind of annoying however he did have some good lines. In the end, do I recommend? Probably not.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
Tomorrow I have a delicious recipe I am sharing. Hope you will come back then!

Sounds like you had a pretty great weekend! I usually like to watch a new movie over the weekend but didn't do it this weekend. Just caught up on my shows.

Are your dogs Shelties or Collies? My former employer had two shelties and they are some of the sweetest and smartest dogs ever! Thanks for the tip on the TED movie. I probably won't waste my time :) Heather
Your pups are so cute! And that cheesecake, yum!!
Glad you had a wonderful weekend :)
Yum! That cheesecake looks delish! Glad you had a good weekend! I've been wanting to see Flight too.
Sounds like a prefect weekend! I saw the dessert on IG over the weekend and must say I was a bit jealous :)

Love the picture of the puppies! They look like they are having so much fun!
I can hardly wait until Ross and I are there running with the girls!! :)
Your meal sounds AMAZING!! I love crab; that's what we had for Valentine's day. I haven't had cheesecake in forever, now I'm craving it! :)
Looks like a fabulous weekend, my friend! Your pups are just adorable! And that cheesecake...yummy! I feel the same way about Ted. I actually got talked into seeing that one in the theaters with some coworkers. Anyway, glad you had a great weekend!
Cheers,
Sara
Oh my! Your dogs are so cute.
I have to admit, I just couldn't stand the movie, Ted. I can't believe I even made it through to the end. It was probably one of the most terrible movies I've ever seen :(
