Weekend Recap

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Well, we are back to another Monday! Isn't it amazing how fast the weekend goes? We had a really fun and relaxing weekend at the coast. Fun was had by all! The husband went fishing and caught quite a few great looking fish and I had a great run along the coast and spent quality time with one of my great friends. We had a wonderful crawfish/crab boil that was delish!!

Here are a few of our pictures from the weekend.

Friday OOTD: Loft blouse and Ikat shorts (last season).

I was very happy with my time during my run Saturday. I have been trying to mix up flat and hill runs in hopes to improve my pace. The humidity was of course off the charts since I was at the coast but seeing that water helped keep me going!

I wanted to show you one of my new workout tops. I bought this at Old Navy a few weeks ago for only $12! I love it as it isn't tight and instead flowy. I am going back to get a few more colors this week!

The husband (on the right) with his buddy and kids. I was impressed with what they caught!

The husband with one of the Redfish he caught.

My OOTD for the boil. This is one of my new Old Navy dresses. I bought it in the green stripe as well. Only $20! Go get yourself one (or two)!

The boil! I had never had artichoke in it but it was delicious! The crab clusters were in another batch and very tasty as well!

A little husband & wife picture!

I am so thankful that we have the coast so near and such wonderful friends!

Have a wonderful Monday!

I think I'll just save this post and link it on Monday's following the majority of our weekends. All looks very familiar! The crawfish, the husband lap pics, husband-huge-fish pics, the comfy summer dresses, even the boat is the same as my husbands! That's us in a nutshell all spring and summer! (although I definitely need to step up my running habit - which is currently nonexistent)

So glad I found you through the link up! I'm in my second attempt to get back to blogging after my first attempt of documenting wedding plans was failed miserably! Hoping newlywed life and house projects, etc. will bring me back!

Dying for a smidgeon of your warmth.

Love that Old Navy tank - I hate when everything is super tight.
