My summer to-do list:
1. RELAX - take one day a week to sit and enjoy the life we have made and not stress about the upcoming weeks events! This will be Sundays!
3. Cook more - this seems to always be on my New Year's resolution list but here it goes again! I really enjoy cooking it is just getting the motivation to do so after a long day at work. My hubby really enjoys and appreciates it so why shouldn't I do it more??
4. Run!!! I LOVE running but lately haven't been able to do so per Dr's orders. I NEED running and feel so much better afterwards. Don't get me wrong I am no marathon runner or sprinter. I did complete a 1/2 Marathon in 2010 but other than that long run it is typically a 3-6 mile run at a 10 minute pace. I borrow my friends phrase: "I'm a completer not a competer". Love that!
5. Improve my photography skills. I love taking pictures and strive to be better at it. The summer time is a great time to practice these with all the wildlife, flowers and coastal areas! I can't wait to share these with you.
6. Continue DIY projects. I love taking something that has lost its place in our home and changing it up or creating new. My hubby & I have done so much around the house but seem to have fallen into a funk - we need to do more DIY projects this summer! On my mind is roman shades from a pretty fabric in the kitchen, shelves in the office and of course our master closet needs a remodel :)
7. Read. I love reading and have read so many great books lately! I am getting ready to finish up the 50 Shades series and am quite sad. It has been a great series and don't want it to end! Anyone have any recommendations for books you have enjoyed? ( I have already read the Hunger Games and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo books).
8. Update my blog. I have been longing to make my blog pretty and organized like so many of those that I read. I WILL do this this summer!!
9. Write letters. With email and texting I feel like I never write or receive letters anymore. Isn't it so fun when you check the mail and you have a note from a friend or relative? I really want to brighten someone's day by doing this! Now I need to get stamps...it has been forever since I bought stamps!
10. Journal. I haven't written in a journal since I was little but I think it would be so great to do this and recall daily all the things I am thankful for :)
Have a fabulous Wednesday!

Love your list! Hm...I'm feeling inspired to add more to mine:) Love that running quote too. I have officially read the Fifty series twice because I'm so sad for it to end--I want to know what happens next! Have you read Divergent (and the 2nd in the series is Insurgent)? I loved Divergent..starting Insurgent now, very Hunger Games-ish..
I think I need to make a summer list too :)
Thanks for following!

You are going to be a BUSY little lady! And I know, without a doubt, that you are going to conquer them all!! And I am with you 100% about 50 Shades!! I am still in mourning about finishing all three!! Read the last one as slow as possible!! ;)

That's a pretty solid list! I need to create one. For some reason I think it would just be one thing over ad over: less stress lol!
