Vacation Update: Pura Vida - Destination Wedding

We had a very relaxing weekend and I didn't snap any pictures for a weekend update so instead I decided to post a Vacation Update and share my vacay pictures with you. (sorry this is a longer post than normal with a LOT more pictures than normal)
*************
Costa Rica is an amazing country and if I could have my wedding all over again it would definitely be there! We spent the past week there celebrating my BIL and new SIL's wedding. Let me just tell you before you see the pictures that it was picture perfect! I cannot wait to see all of their photos from the photographer (since there were 3 and a videographer). There will be so many amazing pictures! I was honored to be her Matron of Honor and truly love her like my sister. We both live in San Antonio so we have become very close. Love you K!

Here is my recap!

Wednesday
We flew into Liberia and took a rented bus to the resort, Playa Conchal in Guanacaste. It was gorgeous! Surrounded by the jungle and the coast. We didn't see the monkeys like we did when we stayed in Quepos last year but the beaches were amazing and better here.
{1. the hubby & I / 2. me & my fabulous Mother-in-law / 3. Imperial - THE beer of Costa Rica / 4. hubs enjoying his first beer in country / 5. my MIL, hubs Godmother (Connie) & her daughter Audra}

Our condo was amazing! We stayed with Brad's parents and his Godmother Connie & her daughter Audra.

That evening we went to a buffet, which as you all know about me is not my thing, but this one was amazing! It was an international buffet and that offered swordfish, all types of salad, rice & beans, chopped meat and desserts that were to die for!

Thursday
We of course woke up around 5am Texas time and sat out on the balcony enjoying our coffee and the jungle sounds. It was perfect! Some of the men went fishing & I went on the catamaran. We had a fantastic time! Brad caught a sailfish so he was very happy!
{1. frozen mojito / 2. friends / 3. beautiful views / 4. our catamaran / 5. views / 6. happy soon to be married couple / 7. FIL enjoying the breeze / 8. fun with friends}

{The guys fishing trip. 1. the Bushwacker group / 2. Brad's sailfish / 3. heading out to their boat / 4. double hooked sailfish! / 5. Brad enjoying his ride}

That evening my BIL & SIL hosted a dinner at the Happy Snapper (fun name!) for everyone that had arrived and we of course had a great time!

Friday
Brad & I were able to spend some time together & alone at the beach this morning and had a great time in the ocean. Unfortunately we got a little sunburnt, ouch!

I was also able to capture some amazing pictures of my one of very best girlfriend's kiddos. I love photographing children, it is always so fun to capture special moments of them.

This night we also had the rehearsal & rehearsal dinner. My in-laws did an AMAZING job!! The view, decor and food was incredible. Not to mention my MIL put together a wonderful slideshow of the BIL & SIL.
{1. Rehearsing the big event / 2. Kristi & I / 3. amazing view / 4. happy couple / 5. Kristi & her bridesmaid's / 6. the bride & her matron / 7. the hubby & I / 8. my in-laws, so happy! / 9. Brad & his brother}

Saturday
The wedding day has arrived!! The men went golfing in the morning & the ladies began our day with getting our hair & make-up done as well as a bridesmaid's brunch. The same chef that owned the restaurant from the Rehearsal Dinner came and cooked for us. It was amazing! Eggs benedict, sausages, pastries, fruit & of course mimosa's!

{1. views for brunch / 2. favors of chocolate covered espresso beans / 3. me & Jen with her little girl / 4. Bride-to-be getting ready / 5. centerpieces @ brunch / 6. Bride-to-be & her Mom / 7. the Chef / 8. beautiful Bride / 9. my hair!! / 10. the flowers arrived!}

It is wedding time! I actually got a few of these pictures from others because I did not take my camera out of my bag during the reception so I could just enjoy it without being the crazy girl taking way too many pictures :)

How amazing are these pictures??? I am loving each and everyone and can't pick a favorite! They are such a beautiful couple!

{Speech time / Brad & I enjoying the reception / my new Morris sister!!}
Sunday
Travel day...do we really have to come home to work & reality??  No pictures this day as you can imagine we were all exhausted and pouting about returning to the real world.

We had a great trip and can't wait to visit Costa Rica again!!
